Teaching languages: Most programmes are taught in German. English taught modules, intercultural trainings, English friendly courses (German language with English support) and free Language Learning Centre courses are available. A full exchange course load is around 30 ECTS per semester.
Accommodation: TH Köln does not guarantee housing for exchange students. Students are told to apply immediately to the Kölner Studierendenwerk (KSTW) online, since short term Erasmus stays are usually offered a dormitory room quickly despite Cologne's tight rental market.
