The oldest school of design and art in Spain, founded in 1775 under the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. Its students included Joan Miró, Joaquim Mir and Marià Fortuny, and workshops were run by, among others, Pablo Picasso. It offers a wide range of studies from traditional crafts to modern design.
